<div class="SSN_level2">A. The sovereign God of the Universe.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">E. As Lord, He could have came with power and majesty.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">II. CONSIDER HIS MISSION.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. A peace emissary from God.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. "God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself."</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. He came to bring man life.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. "I have come that ye might have life and that more abundantly."</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">C. He came to consummate a trade.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. "He who was rich, for our sakes became poor, that we might have the riches of God through Him."</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">2. "He hath made Him to be sin for us who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him."</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">III. NOW CONSIDER HIS PLACE.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. "Laid Him in a manger."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Had it been the finest palace in the world, it still wouldn't be deserving of Him.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Born close to nature, where we find the greatest appreciation of Him.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. "No room in the inn."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. The inference being, the inn was crowded out with other guests.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. A truly tragic picture and indictment against humanity, that no place would open to let Him in who was coming for so high a cause.</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">A sad story but it becomes even sadder.</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">A tragic story, that becomes more tragic.</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">For after 1900 years, He is still on the outside for man has still found no room in the inn of his heart for Christ. "Behold I stand at the door and knock."</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">Time for business.</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">Time for pleasure.</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">Time for self.</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">The inference still the same, life crowded out with other guests. Worldly prestige, pleasure, profit, prominence. No place is found for the Master.</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">Someone has said if the innkeeper had only known who the new born babe really was, surely he would have made room.</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">I wonder.</div>
<div class="SSN_notes">You know who He was, but have you made room?</div>
