<div class="SSN_intro">Intro: Thank God for His hedge about us. Ever striped as Job. Lost herds, flocks, camels, servants, children, wife, friends. Sense of worth, cursed the day of his birth, longed for death.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">A. God is just and fair.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Go plead your case with Him.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. If you are pure and innocent, He'll take up your cause.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. They may flourish for a while.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. They will dry and break.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">C. God helps the righteous but cuts off evil doers.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">II. JOB'S DILEMMA, I KNOW WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. How can a man plead his case before God?</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. God is so vast.</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">c. He created the Universe.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">C. God is so nebulous.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. I can't see Him. vs. 11</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. I can't hinder Him. vs. 12</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. I can't challenge Him. vs. 12</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">4. He is not a man as I am. Man seeks to bring God down to his level.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">D. How can a finite man reach an infinite God?</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. It is impossible to start with an earth base and build a bridge to God.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Yet this is the endeavor of every religious system.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Modern philosophers encourage you to take a leap of faith.</div>
<div class="SSN_level5">1. You might experience something you can't explain.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">III. JOB'S LACK OF A DAYSMAN "NEITHER IS THERE ANY DAYSMAN BETWEEN US WHO COULD LAY HIS HAND ON US BOTH."</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Job recognized gulf between God and man too great to span by all of man's best efforts.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Only hope for man would be a daysman.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. But none exists.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">2. "That which was from the beginning which we have seen, heard & touched."</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Through Jesus man can see God.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Through Jesus man can touch God.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. Jesus Christ is the bridge that spans the infinite gap.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. He was one with the Father, "He thought it not something to be grasped to be equal with God."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Yet He became one with us, "and in all points was tempted even as us, that He might be able to help us in our temptations."</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">C. The bridge does not have an earth base.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. It does not begin with man - "For God so loved the world."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. It does not involve man reaching up to God.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. It is God reaching down to man. This is man's only hope. Climb to the top of any of man's ladders, they are too short.</div>
