<div class="SSN_title">"SPEECHLESS"</div>
<div class="SSN_intro">Intro: David's desire to build a house for God. Nathan's message from God to David. Peter in <a onClick="return mV('Act',2,30);">Acts 2:30</a> tells us that David being a prophet knew that God had promised that from the fruit of his loins according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit upon the throne.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">I. "WHO AM I, O LORD GOD?"</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. God had reminded David of his humble past. "I took thee from the sheepcote..."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. From following sheep, to ruling God's people.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. David remembered his boyhood days.</div>
<div class="SSN_level5">1. Some of his actions not so honorable.</div>
<div class="SSN_level5">2. "Remember not the sins of my youth."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. "Whom am I?"</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. Reaction of every recipient of God's grace, "Who am I?"</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Paul, "Unto me who is less than the least of all saints was this grace given."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Have you ever thought about God's goodness to you and just been overwhelmed?</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">C. Notice the contrast, "Who am I, O Lord God?"</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. "O Lord God" you created and you sustain this universe yet you are aware of me.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. That God should ever think about me overwhelms me.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. But how much He thinks about me...I have no words to describe.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Some have never measured the "I" with O Lord God.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. They are always measuring with others They become listed up and proud. "God I thank thee that I am not like..."</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">II. "THOU HAST SPOKEN OF THY SERVANT'S HOUSE FOR A GREAT WHILE TO COME."</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. It's not just the present blessings that overwhelm me, but the promises of the future.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. "I will never leave you or forsake you."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. "Let not your heart be troubled.."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. "Thanks be to God who has begotten us again..."</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. "And is this the manner of men?"</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. No, men honor the great.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Men cater to the wealthy.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. God has chosen to honor me, He chose me!</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">4. With men, the poor serve the rich, but our Lord girded Himself with a towel.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">III. "AND WHAT CAN DAVID SAY MORE UNTO THEE."</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. At this point words fail.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Vocabularies have not yet been created to describe the deep inner feelings of the spirit.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. The philosophers talk today of the ultimate experience.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Should you ever achieve it, you could never describe it.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. Perhaps the realization of the grace of God is the ultimate experience.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. It is joy inexpressible and full of glory.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. It is peace that passes human understanding.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">c. Paul speaks of his experience as unlawful to utter.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. Have you ever come to that place of speechlessness before God?</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Think of the vastness of God compared to you.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Think of what you were when God called you.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. Think of what the future would have been if you had continued in your own way.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">4. Think of what your future is in Christ.</div>
