Question: Shall we sin so that grace might abound?

Answer: Absolutely not

We are united with Christ in His death

We are united with Christ in His resurrection

We have a new life

The new life

We are no longer in the old life under the ruling power of sin

We have risen out of it

We are now under the rule of grace and the reign of grace is so powerful that sin has been defeated

In order that the body of sin might be rendered ineffective

Our physical body of which sin has taken possession

The purpose of salvation is to deliver us from the tyranny of sin — to be set completely free including our body

The man in Adam is a slave to sin — he has no freedom
