This word speaks the necessity of the truth declared.
1. The must of worship Him. "They that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth" (Jhn 4:24).
2. The must of work. "I must work the works" (Jhn 9:4).
3. The must of purpose. "Them also I must bring" (Jhn 10:16).
4. The must of regeneration. "Ye must be born again" (Jhn 3:7).
5. The must of sacrifice. "Even so must the Son of Man be lifted up" (Jhn 3:14; Jhn 12:34).
6. The must of resurrection. "He must rise again from the dead" (Jhn 20:9).
7. The must of increase. "He must increase, but I must dscrease" (Jhn 3:30).
