  • The result depends upon God
• Lord of the Witness
  • He sends those whom He chooses
  • He directs those whom He sends
  • No one should try to make himself a preacher or decide where he will work
  • The Church must determine the call
  • The Church must confirm the man
• Necessity of the Witness — Preaching
  • Salvation depends on it
    • "How shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?"
    • "How shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard?"
    • "How shall they hear without a witness?"
  • The result of "hearing" is faith
    • The inevitable effect is believing
    • When the Gospel is "heard" faith is the result —" Act 13:48
