Israel is God's earthly people. The Church is God's heavenly people. They are—
1. Born with a heavenly birth (Jhn 1:13).
2. Seated in heavenly places (Eph 2:6).
3. Blessed with heavenly blessings (Eph 1:3).
4. Called with a heavenly calling (Hbr 3:1).
5. Kept for a heavenly inheritance (1Pe 1:4).
6. Belonging to a heavenly citizenship (Phl 3:20, R.V.)
7. Represented by a heavenly High Priest (Hbr 9:24).
