Added F. E. Marsh's Five Hundred Bible Readings to the Commentaries. English-born, Dr. Frederick Edward Marsh (1858-1931) devoted his life to studying the Bible and unfolding its treasures to others through his preaching and his many books and outlines
Implemented a persistent Left Hand Menu across the entire application. It will now stay on the screen while navigating to the bottom or back to the top of the screen
Improved readability of various Study Tools
Increased number of Study Tools available for many verses
Updated several notes associated with the RSV text available under the Version (V) button

Version 2.4a 2025.03.25

Added the Don Stewart FAQ's to the selection options for the commentaries to mimic the website. This added 12,000 Scripture references. Improved the navigation within this resource
R. A. Torrey's "The Fundamentals" have had their Scripture references relinked. This has added another 50% to the total number of linked Scripture references. The text has also been extensively edited
Luther's preface to Galatians has been updated
Minor change to the L button drop down instructing the user to "Click here to select..."
Improved the formatting and added navigation to the entries in the Study Tools directory
Updated the contributions page to reflect our change in mailing address
Emphasized the requirement for Internet access to view our Free Bible Tools

Version 2.40

Updated the Holman Christian Standard Bible to the Christian Standard Bible.
Added new Devotionals
- Faith's Checkbook by Charles Spurgeon
- Daily Promises by the Staff of Blue Letter Bible
Lexicon Results found under the "C" button have been extensively edited.
- The Outline of Biblical Usage was reformatted. When the meaning of a proper noun is given, it is shown on its own separate line. The part of speech serves as a major topic with definitions indented beneath. Any additional information or commentary given has been separately identified.
- Abbreviations for parts of speech have been replaced by the full terms, e.g., 'v' becomes 'verb'; 'n' becomes 'noun'; 'part.' become 'participle', etc.
- Added the original Strong's Definitions for both Hebrew and Greek words to the Concordance pages.
- Converted all Hebrew text to unicode to present the Hebrew characters, eliminating the need to install a Hebrew font.
- Greek text now appears correctly.
- Other Strong's numbers referenced in the definition have been linked to that definition.
- Special markers in the Strong's definition are now explained by an added legend.
Added Bill Acton's text commentaries on the Book of Acts and the Book of Romans to both his author page under commentaries and to the Commentaries drop down on the Bible pages under the "L" button. This added over 10,000 new links.
Added Chuck Missler's studies on Daniel, John, and Revelation to the Commentaries drop down on the Bible pages found under the "L" button". This added over 10,000 new links.
Removed the Word and Phrase Search from the Search Tools and placed it on the Home page.
Removed the Free Offer from the Search Tools as it is already on the left hand menu.
Added a Search the ISBE to the Search Tools. It was once located under Study Tools.
Removed the videos from the Passion Week Player as they were of poor quality and new better versions could not be created.

Version 2.30c

Implemented the BLB Content Disclaimer to more pages.
Fixed the Dictionary select functionality under the D button. This was broken due to changes in how the browser no longer allowing the opening of multiple pages
Reduced the overall size of the CD by changing the name of multiVerse to mV which is called for each verse look up. Browsers no longer allow multiple 'worker' windows to open.
Reduced the size of the parameters passed to mV (previously "multiVerse") to help reduce overall CD size.
Implemented style blocks within files to reduce occurance of repeated in-line styles to furthe reduce file size.
Performed a complete audit, edit, and test page load of all commentaries, dictionaries, FAQ articles, and Study materials, fixing broken links, and incorporating verse references not previoiusly linked
- Changed links to Jude 1 to Judges 1 where appropriate.
- Removed machine generated accidental links of such text as "is 5 miles..." etc.,
Performed a second audit, edit, and test of JF&B commentary.
Implemented verse links for the Chuck Missler commentaries on Daniel, John and Revelation.
Performed a complete audit, edit, and test of the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia.
- Discovered and recovered several missing articles that were subsumed within other articles.
- Removed extra text from articles that did not belong to that article.
- Linked all articles indentified by "See 'article'" to improve user experience.
Reformatted Matthew Henry's Commentary to break up outline numbered paragraphs/items into separate paragraphs with line breaks between to increase readability.
- Changed links to Jude 1 to Judges 1 where appropriate.
- Removed machine generated accidental links to such text as "is 5 miles..." etc.,
Audited, edited and tested the Help and FAQ files to update function description, remove files applicable only to the website and update example graphics to match the CD.

Version 2.30b

Edited and tested the Jamieson, Fausset & Brown Commentary.
Ray Stedman's materials were removed by request of his estate.
Chuck Missler's studies on Daniel, The Gospel of John, and the Book of Revelation edited.

Exposed the Strong's Number search on the Home Page to more closely match the online version.
Began to normalize the display of verses in popup windows throughout.
Fixed broken calls to Chuck Smith Sermon notes when accessed by name from the Commentaries page.

Version 2.3

Added the Holman Christian Standard Bible to the Versions dropdown menu for each verse of the Bible. This is a major addition to our suite of tools.
Greatly improved the function of Nave's and Torrey's Dictionary lookup as the target is found within the articles. Reworked the Nave's and Torrey's Dictionary Drop down. Enhanced location of sub topics. As a result, resolved over 1,000 topic text mismatches.
Fixed the lookup of the second and following "See other" terms when a series of two or more were listed in an ISBE article.
Also changed the target URL from "Cyber Hymnal" to "The Cyber Hymnal"
Updated the HTML in the files throughout.
Completely removed reference to the Devotional "My Utmost for His Highest".
Removed the mp3 files for Missler/Daniel in order to have room to fit the remainder of the disk on a CD.
Removed the Revelation Executable Outline from the Study directory due to doctrinal differences.

Version 2.2

Hitchcock's Topical Analysis of the Holy Bible of 1872 was added to Study Tools. This is a major addition to our suite of tools. An entry to Hitchcock's appears under the Dictionary button for each verse of the Bible.
