3. Listening to Him, as Mary of Bethany (Luk 10:39), is instruction.
4. Abiding with Him, as the two disciples mentioned in Jhn 1:39, is joy.
5. Living with Him, as the disciples of John, is oneness (Jhn 1:39).
6. Waiting upon Him, as the early Christians, is power (Act 4:31).
7. Watching for Him, as the people were waiting for Christ, is expectancy (Luk 8:40).
